UNAOC-EF Summer School: Call for applications
The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) is collaborating with EF Education First (EF) in the context of the first UNAOC-EF Summer School, which will take place in Tarrytown, NY, USA, from 24 to 31 of August 2013.
This UNAOC-EF Summer School will bring together 100 youth from all over the world for a week

Interethnic Youth Alliance
Name of organization: Cultural Center DamaD, Serbia
Description of organization: Established in 1992, Cultural Centre DamaD is a non-governmental organization, which mission is to promote a culture of dialogue and of human rights through creative work in the local community and beyond. The members of the organization are journalists, writers and students.
Project description: The “Interethnic Youth Alliance” was a six months long program aimed at local population youth in 7 towns of the multi-religious Sandzak region of southwest Serbia. The main focus of the activities were education and empowerment of youth. The Program consisted of three primary components: 1) “Regional Youth leadership school”, which was a seven-day long school for 35 participants being involved in NGOs or political parties; 2) “Engaged Youth in Action”, which consisted of planning, designing and realizing 7 public actions aimed at solving some of the problems that were important to youth within their local communities; 3) “Awareness raising of the public”, which consisted of the implementation and realization of a regional awareness raising campaign, in order to promote youth leaders, youth activism, tolerance, and multi-ethnicity.
