Shakti is organising a day of workshops for youths from migrant and refugee communities to get together, share their experiences and talk about issues that affect them in a comfortable and safe environment.

Q: What is the definition of youth used by the UNAOC?
A: The definition used by the UNAOC to characterize youth is a person who is between 18 years old and their early 30s.
Q: Is the Youth Solidarity Fund open to youth organizations from all countries?
A: Yes, the Youth Solidarity Fund welcomes applications from youth organizations from all countries provided that they meet the eligibility criteria.
Q: In what language should I submit my application?
A: For now, we only welcome applications in English as this is the only common language among members of the selection committee.
Q: Does the Youth Solidarity Fund provide general or core funding (e.g. salaries, rent, etc. not specific to a project) to youth organizations?
A: No, the Youth Solidarity Fund only supports expenses needed to implement the project selectd as part of this program.
Q: My project is at the community level? Is it eligible?
A: Yes, the Youth Solidarity Fund supports community-level, local, national, regional or global projects, provided that they are aligned with the eligibility criteria .
Q: I am not a member or representative of a youth organization. Can I submit an application?
A: No, the Youth Solidarity Fund is open only to youth organizations, not individuals.
