The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), the International Youth Council (IYC) and the Friendship Ambassadors Foundation (FAF) have partnered to hold an on-line consultation on the 3 themes of the upcoming UNAOC’s Fourth Annual Forum to be held in Doha, Qatar this December. This forum in Qatar will bring together over 2,000 participants, including political and corporate leaders, civil society activists, youth groups, faith communities, research centers, foundations and journalists, will come together to agree on joint actions to improve relations across cultures, combat prejudice and build lasting peace. These consultations were held from November 10 to 30, 2011. At the moment, the UNAOC, the IYC and the FAF are preparing a document that summarizes key comments made by youth during the consutlations. This document will be shared with the youth coming to the UNAOC Forum in Doha with a view to enrich the discussions they will have on the same 3 themes. From these discussions, a series of youth recommendations will be prepared and shared with world leaders during the UNAOC Forum in Doha. These youth recommendations will be available on the UNAOC Youth Website in January 2012. You are welcome to continue to post comments on-line. However, please be aware that they will not be included in the document mentioned above as the formal period of the consultation is now over.
